The Importance of Art

Tax dollars should be used on arts and different musical and theater classes because some students shine in musical or theater type classes instead of regular classes. These classes allow for students to get creative. Some students tend to be more creative than others so they tend to do better than others in these arts classes. Schools should be where students let their creativity flow freely not just sit in a boring class all day reading books and studying all the time.

The art program doesn't even get a budget. The arts teachers have to provide a budget from their own pockets and they have lots of students that they need to take care of. Depending on the school most of the teachers have 1,000 students or more. That's a lot of money that they'll need to provide for equipment or supplies.
